Hairdressing Level 3 Apprenticeship at Lakes College West Cumbria

Course description

The Apprenticeship is a programme of vocational education and training whereby you will develop your skills whilst learning on the job, building up knowledge and experience, gaining qualifications and earning money all at the same time. As an Apprentice, you will learn up to date trends and techniques including: Advanced cutting, colouring,  colour correction and long hair work. You will undertake essential skills (at an appropriate level) in Communication and Numeracy, and will be assessed both in college and the workplace. 

Entry requirements

Relevant Level 2 Qualification or have significant experience

Financial information

Apprenticeships are Government funded, depending upon age and circumstance. However you will need to purchase a kit & tunic at approx £140. In addition you will be expected to wear black trousers/skirt and small-heeled black shoes.

Future opportunities

Once you have completed the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Hairdressing you are fully qualified to seek relevant employment.
