BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport at Denbigh School

Course description

You would be suitable for this course if you have an interest in sport and are practically competent in at least two activities. Students need to be taking part in regular sport to a high standard outside of school hours as 40% of final grade is dependent on practical ability. Students who select this option are often interested in pursuing career opportunities in the sport and leisure field.

  • Principles of Anatomy & Physiology in Sport
  • Psychology for Sports Performance
  • Fitness Testing in Sport & Exercise

  • Entry requirements

    GCSE 5 A*-C including English and Mathematics.

    Students on this course who have completed GCSE PE will benefit from achieving a B grade on the theory component
