Depth in chemistry – structured questions
Both papers are 1 hour 30 min and are weighted at 50%.
Students who chose the A2 option will sit three exams which together cover all six modules:

Synthesis and analytical techniques – multiple choice and structured questions
Unified chemistry – structured questions and extended response questions
The first two are 2 hour 15 min in length and are weighted at 37% each. The third is 1 hour 30min and
