Course description

A practical, work related course suitable for school leavers and mature learners.

Course content

You learn by completing projects and assignments in either graphic design, fine art or fashion/textiles that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. Entry requirements

Entry Requirements:

A minimum of 4 GCSEs grade C or above or a pass grade at a relevant Level 2 vocational course. Art, Graphics, Resistant Materials or Textile GCSEs are recommended.


Specific Entry Requirements:

A portfolio of artwork is essential at interview.

Future opportunities

You may progress to Higher Education, employment or an Apprenticeship.

      The campus also houses a Learning Centre, Skills Development Centre, Assessment Centre, Tutorial Centre, a Copyshop and Refectory. Situated on the grounds of this campus are Dovedale Nursery and Dovedale Sports Centre.
