Acacia Training often offers learners additional courses to help build knowledge towards the QCF Certificate as required. The mandatory units are: Prepare yourself to deliver good customer service Provide customer service within the rules
This qualification is primarily aimed at candidates who undertake a customer service role and recognises that employment in the customer service sector involves a diverse range of functions, tasks and activities that are constantly developing and changing. It is suitable for candidates: Who have particular customer service and administrative job roles Who are working in a customer service environment Whose role is to provide service to customers In addition to the certificate, there is a technical certificate, Functional Skills in English and Maths at level 1, along with an Employment Rights and Responsibilities workbook, and Personal Learning and Thinking skills
There are no formal entry requirements but you must be able to demonstrate your competence in a real working environment
This qualification is assessed in your own workplace and you will be allocated an Assessor who will visit you to carry out observations of your work and help you to identify relevant evidence of your competence in work.
The Skills Funding Agency requires Acacia Training to choose Apprenticeship funding over any other form of funding where there is a choice. The Apprenticeship is now available for all ages (subject to eligibility) and is made up of a framework of the QCF Certificate, a Technical Certificate and Functional Skills.
The QCF Certificate is also available commercially to those who are not eligible for funding at a price of £1100 +VAT.
To access this funding via Acacia Training, applicants must be working with a contract of employment with a local employer in the South West Region.
