Course description

BTEC Performing Arts at the Enterprise Studio is empowering and challenging. It develops essential life skills from building confidence, self-discipline and teamwork to those of reflection and evaluation. It is a valued qualification in both academic and employment fields.

Performing Arts also reflects a student’s ability to communicate and work with others creatively. Students will also be able to work with independence and responsibility. The wide-ranging skills acquired transfer naturally into further study and the course prepares students to take up their place in the world of work.

Performance skills and stagecraft are developed through real performances, ensuring that students prepare thoroughly and receive live, unbiased feedback. Another key aspect is working with industry professionals and beginning to build your performance networks and contacts.
