Further Mathematics AS Level at Woodroffe School
Further Maths is a highly regarded qualification and enables students to distinguish themselves in the university and employment market. It is much sought after by the top universities, especially from students who want to study Maths or a highly Maths based subject such as Engineering, Sciences, Economics or Computer Science. Even if your strength is in an apparently unconnected subject such as History, studying Further Maths can be very rewarding and develops logic and thinking skills to a high level. The course is available to those who also opt for Maths, but requires a high level of commitment and interest as it will account for two options work of time. For someone who enjoys Maths, it provides a challenge and a chance to explore new and more sophisticated maths concepts.
