Dance - BTEC at George Salter Academy

Course description

This course is aimed at students that are interested in gaining knowledge and experience in a range of Dance styles and techniques . Students will have the opportunity to perform a number of times and choreograph their own Dance pieces.

The department strives to give students opportunities to work with professional artists and become involved in performance projects that are happening within the West Midlands . We believe it is also important for students to see a wide range of performances, so regular trips to theatres are organised within the department.
