Hospitality and Catering - Full Time - Level 1 at Barnfield College
A basic knowledge and understanding of food production techniques. Students also complete the Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene, which is a basic qualification for all food handlers.
A skills test relevant to the vocational area may be required.
Initial and diagnostic assessment of English and Maths skills at Pre Entry 3 or above.
Level 2 and later Patisserie and Confectionery at Level 3. It also can lead to careers in the industry at top regional, London and national establishments.
Uniforms and knife kit essential. Students will be expected to work in the Restaurant in the evening.
