Course content

Regular informal lessons with our language assistants // Opportunity to take part in the trips abroad organised by the department. (eg. Paris) // Opportunity to develop your language skills & accuracy as well as your understanding of the society & culture of French speaking countries. // Opportunity to attend language days at local universities.

Entry requirements

GCSE Grade B or above in French

GCSE Grade C or above in English & Maths

Assessment

Unit 1 - Speaking: Conversation & Discussion (12-15mins // 20%)

Unit 2 - Listening, reading & writing: a combined paper including an essay of 250 words (2 1/2 hours // 30%)
