Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) Level 3 at Achievement Training & Skills LTD

Course description

You have studied and achieved a level 2 qualification in related subject an dare looking to progress your knowledge and skills. This qualification will give you future employment opportunities to progress into senior work roles.

Course content

This course is for people wishing to enter employment as an Early Years Educator or progress onto Higher Education. Once complete it will prepare you to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5-7 years. UCAS points are allocated to this qualification


This course is available as a classroom based course. your tutor will support you throughout the course and visit you at your placement location to observe your practitioner skills. You will receive a login to an on-line portfolio account, which can be accessed from any Wifi point at home or in our centre or through 3/4G. You will be provided with a detailed course programme. At the centre you will have the opportunity to network with other learners and to share practice and access to different resources to support your learning including laptops, desktops, tablets and textbooks. To work as an Early Years Educator at Level 3, you are required to achieve GCSE grades C or above in Englsh and maths, full tuition and support is given. A placement working with birth to 5 years is required.

Future opportunities

Upon achievement of this qualification you will be able to progress onto higher education in various sectors including early years or social work or providing you have the relevant GCSE grades you will be able to enter the statutory,  voluntary or private work force as an early years educator in roles such as;

  • Practitioner in nursery school
  • Practitioner in childrens centre
  • Practitioner in pre-school, foundation unit and class in a primary school
