Module 4: Core Organic Chemistry
Module 5: Physical Chemistry and Transition Elements
Module 6: Organic Chemistry and Analysis
- GCSE Mathematics grade B or higher
- GCSE subject specific grade required: GCSE Science minimum grades A, B
- Pre-summer work required: Yes
- Students who achieve lower than GCSE subject specific grade may be accepted at the teachers’ discretion
Teaching of practical skills is integrated with the theoretical topics and they are assessed both through written papers and practical endorsement.
Chemistry A level can be used to find employment in many different areas including: medicine, veterinary science, engineering, law, environmental sciences, pharmaceutical industry, biological sciences and construction industry.
