Level 3 Diploma in Gas at Trafford College

Course description

This qualification is designed for mature students wishing to gain employment within the gas industry. Students will be taught and assessed on the following unit areas:* Understanding Health and Safety in Gas Utilisation* Understanding Scientific Principles in Gas Utilisation* Understanding Combustion and Properties of Gas* Understanding Buildings, Services, and Structures* Understanding Gas Safety

Entry requirements

Completion of Level 2 and progression interview.


The majority of assessments on the Technical Certificate are summative with a series of multi-choice question papers and course work.

Future opportunities

Students may move onto an ONC/HNC Building Services programme and / or start the NVQ within one year of completing their Technical Certificate Level 3.
