As well as this content, heavy focus on grammar and accuracy features in every lesson alongside traditional skills. Students are expected to be able to manipulate and use language to suit their own purposes.
There is a heavy emphasis on oral skills in the target language. Student are expected to communicate as much as possible in Spanish throughout the lesson. Lessons are conducted in Spanish where appropriate.
As well as attending lessons, students are expected to keep up to date with topical issues in Spanish speaking countries.
Grade B in GCSE Spanish
- Unit 1: Listening reading and writing paper.
- Unit 2: Oral exam.
Further study at University level. Languages degrees are diverse and can be combined with other disciplines such as law, humanities based subjects.
A language degree is versatile enough to be applied to any area of work. A particular asset if your chosen career path is within the tourist industry.
