A Level Government and Politics at Queen Elizabeth's Girls' School
- People, Politics and Participation (AS) - including elections, voting behaviour, political parties and pressure groups.
- Governing Modern Britain (AS) - including how laws are made and the work of the Prime Minister and Parliament.
- Ideologies (A2) - political theories of Liberalism, Socialism, Conservatism and Fascism and their influence on British politics.
- Political Issues (A2) - debating political issues such as the economy, the environment, education and ethnic and gender equality.
GCSE English Language Grade B or above plus a GCSE (Grade B or above) in at least one Humanities subject.
Written exam papers (essay-based) with students assessed on their knowledge and understanding, analysis and interpretation and communication skills.
