C&G Entry Level 3 Award in Construction at Skills 4 U Ltd

Course description

This qualification is run through City and Guilds.

In order for the student to achieve the Entry Level 3 Award in Basic Construction, he\she must achieve eight credits covering several units. The students will be able to discuss the units they wish to cover with their tutors.  The student will then move onto the Level 1.

Course content

The City & Guilds Entry Level 3 in Construction consists of several units. In order to gain the full qualification the student will need to complete all the units for this Level.

Some of the units are:

Introducing Site Carpentry

Introducing Cabinet Making

Introducing brickwork Skills

Introducing Levelling in Construction

Entry requirements


There are no formal qualifications needed as students are referred through school. 



 Assessment is carried out through practical assessment, with some theory.

Financial information


There is no financial costs to the student all fees are paid by the school students are enrolled at.

Future opportunities

On completion of the City & Guilds Entry Level 3 in Basic Construction the student will automatically move onto the Level 1.
