Customer Service Apprenticeship Advanced Level 3 at Derwentside College

Course description

An Advanced Apprenticeship in Customer Service is suitable for you ifyou are interested in working in a variety of customer service roles including reception, administration, call centres, retail and commercial organisations.

Tuition and assessment will be delivered in the workplace.

Apprentices must becommitted to completing learning activities and assignments alongside theirwork responsibilities.

Where necessary, day release to college premises can befacilitated for students requiring additional support.

Entry requirements

  • Alllearners starting an Advanced Apprenticeship programme must be employed in the relevant vocational area and be at leastworking towards Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy. 
  • If the learner is assessed at below this level, an offer may be made oncondition that the learner attends support workshops to achieve the required skills level.

Assessment

  • The qualification is continuously assessed through evidence from workplaceactivities and the building of a portfolio of evidence. 
  • Some elements of the course are assessed viasuccessful achievement of workbooks and examinations.

Future opportunities

The aim of the programme is to equip individuals with the skills, knowledge and experience to deliver excellent customer service in a range of occupations and industries.

The programme will provide a platform from which qualifications ata higher level and/or progression in employment can be pursued.

Completion will enable employees to progress to roles with additional responsibilities.
