Course description

Examples of subjects covered include: Computer Game Design, Developing Computer Games, Computer Game Platforms and Technologies, 3D Modelling, Digital Graphics, Computer Animation, Website Design, Computer Systems, Programming, Software Design and Development and Project Management. Developing your Maths and English skills in order to achieve recognised qualifications is also an important objective of the course as are a range of short modules leading to industry recognised certificates, designed to enhance the career prospects of students.

Entry requirements

Four GCSE passes at grade C, normally including Mathematics and English Language. If you have other qualifications and/or prior relevant experience please contact us. Candidates who are over 21 may be accepted without these qualifications and should contact the Programme Tutor for guidance.

Assessment

It will be assessed throughout the course through practical activities, project work, some tests and assignments.
