Course description

The best way to train for Health and Social Care is to be an Apprentice - at any age from 16 years to retirement.

You can gain your qualification with JACE Training who will also help you find employment in a care home, local community, hospital clinic or someone’s home (domiciliary care).

Course content

Mandatory Induction for all new staff and which takes place over the first 12 weeks of employment. The new Care Certificate for support workers across social care and health in England.

Although the Care Certificate is designed for new staff, new to care and offers this group of staff their first step on their career ladder, it is also offers opportunities for existing staff to refresh or improve their knowledge.
