Maintenance Operations Level 2 Apprenticeship at Lambeth College

Course description

The Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship in Maintenance Operations covers six different disciplines: carpentry, plumbing, wall and floor tiling, painting and decorating, bricklaying and plastering.
This provides the opportunity for you to train as a multi-skilled operative and complete competence elements in two or more disciplines. Work opportunities include working within maintenance teams in hotels, educational establishments, housing associations, hospitals and facility management companies.
Please note: You must be employed and working a minimum of 30 hours a week in order to apply for an apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

Entry age: 16+.

All candidates need to have attained employment, and be working for a minimum of 30 hours per week under a contract of employment.

There is a minimum literacy and numeracy requirement which will be assessed prior to enrolment.

An Employer Agreement is needed as this is a work-based qualification.

Your offer is also subject to a successful interview.

Entry Criteria:

Level 2 – 3 GCSE qualifications at grades E or above including English and Maths
