Graphic Communication A Level (Linear) at Dereham Neatherd High School

Course description

Graphic Communication is all about creatively designing high quality outcomes to a range of design contexts. Outcomes could be book covers, posters, CD covers etc… and are developed following the design process, as you move from concepts to final developed designs.

Graphics can be an excellent subject to study alongside both Photography and Art subjects. It develops skills such as creativity, analysis, and creative use of ICT. This makes it an excellent subject when applying to university and people with an A level in Graphics have gone on to study a wide range of subjects – Advertising, Design, Photography and so on.

Graphics has been one of the most highly attaining courses at the college for the last three years. This is a reflection of the quality of teaching, support of students and the consistently excellent results our students achieve.
