Geography at Denbigh School

Course description

Geography is regarded as an excellent link or ‘facilitating’ subject by Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. You would be suitable for this course if you are interested in the key ideas and debates in our world today, such as global warming and the impacts of climate change; how globalisation is changing people’s lives and how the use of resources is to be managed in the future. You need to have good GCSE grades in at least one Humanities subject and be able to learn and remember case studies and theories. You must be prepared to talk and debate in class and ask questions.
