Customer Service - Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship at Chichester College
The Customer Service Intermediate Apprenticeship is primarily aimed at individuals who are undertaking a career in a customer facing role. This qualification is suitable for all age groups; for those thinking of entering employment for the first time, for those who have just started a job, for those who are changing their career path or those who want recognition.
A Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service, Functional Skills in Maths and English, Employment Rights and Responsibilities and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. You'll have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate technical and wider sector-related knowledge and skills to underpin competence in job roles such as Customer Service Advisor/Operator, Call Centre Advisor, Help Desk Operative or Service Agent. Technical aspects includes the principles and practices of delivering customer service and understanding the different types of customers, their needs wants and expectations, communicating with customers using appropriate communication channels, resolving customer problems and complaints, building relationships with customers, promoting additional products and/or services and the ability to improve own learning. Wider sector-related knowledge includes equality and diversity, organisational structure and environment, legislation and regulation that govern the industry.
No prior knowledge, understanding, skills or qualifications are required, however we will review prior qualifications and/or experience and consider whether this profile shows that you have the potential to achieve the qualification.
You will be assessed by completing a portfolio of evidence using an eportfolio platform in the first instance or a traditional portfolio, under the guidance of your occupationally competent assessor.
