Enterprise & Entrepreneurship BTEC National Level 3 Extended Certificate at Queen Elizabeth's School

Course description

The qualification has been developed in partnership with the National Enterprise Academy, in consultation with entrepreneurs and business people, experienced teachers and learners.

The New BTEC Extended is a practical, work-related course designed to provide students with a broad range of knowledge about the business environment. The new BTEC Nationals use a combination of assessment styles to give your students confidence they can apply their knowledge to succeed in the workplace – and have the study skills to continue learning on higher education courses and throughout their career. This range of vocational assessments – both practical and written – mean students can showcase their learning and achievements to best effect when they take their next step, whether that’s supporting applications to higher education courses or potential employers.

The Business and ICT Faculty works with the Enterprise & Skills Company in delivering this qualification. Students participate in the Enterprise Challenge, pitching their business ideas against other schools in Dorset.
