Health & Social Care BTEC Level 2 at Varndean College

Course description

This course is taught in one year and is equivalent to 1 GCSE.  If you are interested in working within the health care sector in the future, then this is a stepping stone to a fulfilling career. The course covers a range of topics including: Human lifespan development, Equality in the health and social care sector, Effective communication, Food and nutrition.  The course consists of one examined unit and three pieces of coursework.
