Customer Service Advanced Apprenticeship at West Herts College

Course description

Learn the skills to provide excellent customer service, to apply to roles across many different sectors. Employers are increasingly recognising the key role customer facing staff play in determining the quality of customer experience and in increasing customer loyalty.

Course content

At the advanced apprenticeship level these skills could involve improving customer satisfaction, team leading, improving customer loyalty, gathering and analysing customer feedback, processing complaints and reliable customer service.

Examples of subject areas include:

Communicate effectively with customers Demonstrate understanding of customer service Organise the delivery of reliable customer service Deliver seamless customer service with a team Resolve customer service problems

You will gain practical experience at work. You will also be required to achieve a Level 2 award in English and maths and complete a workbook relating to employment rights and responsibilities.

Entry requirements

Employment at a suitable level - most employers ask for GCSEs in English and maths, but may have additional specific requirements. 

Future opportunities

As well as continuing your study with a Level 3 management or Level 2 team leading apprenticeship, successful students will be able to find emplyment in the service sector.
