Music Practitioners Rockschool Level 2 Extended Certificate at Epping Forest College
Rockschool Level 2 in Music focusing on performance, instrumental development, composition and music sequencing as well as recording. You will have an audition with your instrument (or voice) before enrolling on the course. Performance experience is not essential but you should be able to sing or play an instrument or be a Music Tech specialist and be able to compose tracks. You should be interested in Music and the Music IndustryYou will have the opportunity to develop your listening and theoretical skills. This is a course for budding and enthusiastic musicians who want to learn from professionals and have big ambition to succeed!
You will visit venues, go to gigs, take part in our departmental Industry Weeks and perform at a range or internal and external events.

English and Maths are required life skills. As part of your study programme we will support you towards an A*–C grade at GCSE English and Maths. If you’ve already got these grades, we will work with you to develop your skills further.
As part of your study programme you will be given the opportunity to build skills required for employment through workshops and will be expected to undertake work experience with local businesses, councils or voluntary organisations.
4 GCSEs at D or above in English Language or equivalent. OR pass at an appropriate level 1 programme
Assessment will be from a mixture of coursework, rehearsals & performances.
Instrument & accessories required You will be provided with a basic stationary from your material fees
L3 Music or L3 Music Technology at EFC Students can progress to further study with us and then to a University or Employment as a professional musician
