Course description

Digital marketing is a massive growth industry. Social media promotion and web advertising are key components in business strategy and there is a keen demand for skilled staff. Collaborating with other students you will work on projects where you will market a variety of products, events and services.

Course content

UNDERSTAND DIGITAL MARKETING Gain an in-depth understanding of business branding, marketing communications and market research.

CREATE DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS You will plan, develop and implement digital campaigns for events and products, working with other media, games and music students.

EXPLORE OTHER MARKETING STRATEGIES You will investigate complementary marketing channels such as events.

DEVELOP BUSINESS SKILLS You will get to grips with business practice including entrepreneurship, enterprise and business finance.

Entry requirements

We value your creative passion and skills above all else. However, you will need to demonstrate that you are able to work at Level 3 (A Level standard) and we will take your actual, or predicted, grades into account.

FREE for 16-18s.

Future opportunities

You will achieve a Level 3 BTEC Marketing Diploma which can lead on to a creative degree. Completion of both years of the course can generate up to 168 UCAS points, or the equivalent of three A* grades at A Level. You may also go straight into employment in the creative industries.
