Electrical Installation - Level 2 City & Guilds 2330 Electrotechnical Certificate at University Academy Holbeach

Course description

The Academy has an Electrical department equipped with the latest learning technology, high quality equipment and tools to ensure that your learning experience will be as pleasant as it will be successful.

For students looking for a career that is at the cutting edge of engineering and technology, whilst being ‘hands on’, an electrical course can lead to a career that offers excellent opportunities and prospects.

The course will last one year, it will consist of four theory units:

UNIT 201- Working Effectively & Safely in the Electrotechnical Environment

UNIT 202- Principles of Electrotechnology

UNIT 203- Application of Health & Safety & Electrical Principles

UNIT 205- Installation (Buildings & Structures)

These will be assessed by on-line multiple choice exams.

Two practical assignment units are also undertaken:

UNIT 204- Application of Health and Safety and Electrical Principles

UNIT 206- Installation (Buildings and Structures)

Assignments involve pre-planning written assessment work and practical examination. These will be assessed and marked on campus by the electrical department staff.
