Forestry, Level 2 Diploma at Abingdon and Witney College
It contains a mix of practical skills and classroom sessions where you will learn about looking after woodlands and estates. You will develop practical skills in a range of subjects including machinery operation, fencing, estates and forestry skills. Classroom sessions cover topics such as land based business ecology of trees and conservation.
Students should have a minimum of 3 GCSEs at D grade which should include maths and English OR hold a vocational qualification at level 1 plus be able to demonstrate English and maths at a minimum of entry 3.
