Course description

Digitisation continues to make incredible changes to our lives. Embracing new technologies is a powerful key to fuel economic growth, job creation, and can even alleviate poverty. The world has become a global network, offering opportunities to those who are proficient in the use of ICT and with the drive to innovate.

Course content

You will be introduced to the various hardware and software technologies used in ICT, and explore how you can apply them to different applications in real life, and by doing so build new essential problem-solving skills.

Living in the digital world as we now do, you will be given a solid grounding in ICT areas such as communicating data and how to build interfaces between people and ICT systems.

You will learn about technological developments, how to manage ICT projects, the use of ICT solutions within organisations, and the social implications of new technologies. You will design and implement a real ICT-related system.
