Course description

This Level 3 Hairdressing course offers many opportunities and challenges; it is closely linked to the Fashion industry which is fast and ever changing. This course will push your levels of creativity through experimentation, trial and error.

Using a range of advanced techniques and treatments, this Diploma is designed to help you expand your skills-set and give you the best chance of progressing on to employment or further study. Working with real clients in the Academy of Hair & Beauty is a perfect way to start you career in Hairdressing or Barbering. Fully equipped, state of the art industry standard Salons using top professional equipment and products make an ideal learning platform for you to learn the practical as well as the theoretical side of Hairdressing. You will be taught the techniques and skills to cut, colour, shape and dress both male and female clients’ hair to create the look they want by Barbering and Hairdressing specialists. Visiting experts make sure you are exposed to the most up to date information and developments in areas such as straightening techniques and products, Barbering and colouring. As a Hairdressing student you can take part in internal and regional competitions which are a wonderful platform to show off your newly found talents.
