Accounting AAT Level 3 Diploma at Barking and Dagenham College
This is an intermediate level course, which is ideal if you want to master more complex financial processes. On this Level 3 course you will study:

It is an ideal stepping stone into the following careers in the financial sector: Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable and Expenses Supervisor, Accounts Payable Clerk, Assistant Accountant, Audit Trainee, Bookkeeper, Corporate Recovery Analyst, Credit Controller, Finance Assistant, Insolvency Executive, Payroll Administrator, Payroll Supervisor, Practice Bookkeeper and Payroll Tax Accountant Tax Assistant.
Train to become a certified business accountant by studying our AAT accountancy course. Classes cover finance, cash management, bookkeeping and much more. Learning will mainly take place in our industry-standard IT suites. You will also be expected to carry out some independent study away from the classroom; this will be supported by workshops.
You should have a good standard of English and Maths and possess the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or equivalent. The level 3 diploma builds on the level 2 knowledge, therefore a sound knowledge of the Level 2 topics is essential.
Four of the level 3 units are assessed by an online exam and two by computer based projects that also sat under exam conditions in our dedicated exam room.
You could move on to study the units that make up either the full Level 4 AAT Diploma in Accounting or the Level 4 AAT Certificate in Taxation which we also offer at BDC.
You will be given a text book list at induction. You will also need a calculator and we will give you guidance on the right one to buy.
