Range of skills from: basic geographical investigative, ICT, graphical, cartographical, statistical.

Unit 3 – Contemporary Geographical Issues

Physical: Ecosystems; Plate tectonics and associated hazards.

Human: World Cities

Unit 4B – Geographical Issue Evaluation

Geographical Issue Evaluation

Geographical skills and knowledge of entire course brought together with a pre-released information booklet.

Career Pathways

A geographical education develops knowledge and skills useful for careers on a whole variety of different fields. Planning, Research, Landscape Architecture, Conservation, Education, Finance, Marketing, Travel and Tourism are just some of the career pathways open to a Geography student.

Entry requirements

In the first year of the Sixth Form, students are expected to follow at least 3 subjects. Most will choose 4.

A minimum of 5 grade Cs are required to undertake A Levels and a grade B is recommended in your chosen subjects.
