Engineering (Motor Vehicle) - Technical Baccalaureate (full-time) at East Surrey College

Course description

The course aims to provide the technical knowledge and skills required by today's Retail Motor Industry. It covers the basic systems found on a modern vehicle and the associated background studies including Engineering mathematics and science. This qualification involves both theory and practical learning at a challenging level. As well as the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Motor Vehicle Engineering you will study Using and Applying Mathematics - A brand new post-GCSE qualification, designed to help learners develop the confidence to use and apply mathematics critically to solve problems, as well as to make sense of complex situations that might arise in the work, learning or life in general. It's intended to be a more practical, applied and engaging alternative Level 3 qualification to A/AS Levels; and an extended project, which will develop and test your skills in extended writing, communication, research, and self-discipline and self-motivation.
