Sport Activity Leadership Level 2 Apprenticeship at Bradford College

Course description

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn and train in your chosen career as well as earning a regular pay packet. You will be given first-hand experience and learn the majority of the skills needed on the job, whilst also completing off-the-job training.

This apprenticeship trains you to effectively plan, deliver and evaluate sport and active leisure sessions. The sports activity sector is exciting and diverse, and this apprenticeship provides an ideal starting point.

Course content

Typical tasks:

  • Preparing and leading activity sessions;
  • Looking after activity equipment
  • Running sessions for people with disabilities.

You will be required to study on a day release basis.

Entry requirements

GCSE English and Mathematics at a minimum of Grade C/4 or Entry 3 on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB.
