Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Intermediate Apprenticeship at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College
Healthcare support workers work as part of a team providing high quality and compassionate care to individuals. You will carry out well-defined routine clinical duties, alongside non clinical duties.
As part of this apprenticeship you may work in a range of healthcare provisions such as hospitals, community clinics, health centres, hospices, mental health settings and GP surgeries. Units you may cover include: communication, personal development, equality and inclusion, safeguarding and protection, health and safety and the role of a health and social care worker for men.
To progress onto a Level 2 Apprenticeship you will need up to five GCSEs grade D-G, including a grade D in English and Maths*.
In order to start an Apprenticeship, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.
