Mandatory Unit 3: Personal and Business finance
(Plus one other option unit to be decided on student interest and achievement)
Specific GCSE Requirements (in addition to sixth form entry requirements)

The Extended Certificate in Business is assessed by successful completion of coursework assessments and one exam in the ‘Personal and Business finance’ unit.
This exam is set and marked by the exam board.
BTEC Business would be suitable for anyone wishing to go on to Higher Education courses in Business, Accountancy, Marketing or anyone who is perhaps considering setting up a business themselves in the future.
