Sport BTEC Level 3 (Extended Certificate) at Vandyke Upper School and Community College

Course description

Unit 1: Anatomy and Physiology (Written Exam)
Unit 2: Programming for Health, Sport and Well-being
Unit 3: Professional Development in the Sports Industry
Unit 7: Practical sports performance
 

Entry requirements

A minimum of 4 in GCSE PE. In addition, if studied a Merit at level 2 BTEC First Diploma.

Assessment

All work is assessed through coursework. There are usually 4-5 tasks to complete for each unit.

Two external assessments which contributes towards the final grade:

Unit 1 Anatomy and Physiology (written exam)
Unit 2 Programming for Health, Sport and Well-being
