Mathematics - A Level at Bexleyheath Academy

Course description

A Level Maths is significantly more difficult than GCSE but it is equally rewarding. In some modules, you will delve further into topics that you merely scratched the surface of in your GCSE years; in others, you will touch upon how mathematics can be applied to the world around you. There will be plenty of challenging moments but this is what makes it such a desirable qualification to universities and employers.
You will be expected to complete regular homework, which will often include preparatory work for future lessons; independent learning is a necessity. You should aim to complete an hour of study for every hour of lesson time.
