Personal Finance Level 2 Certificate at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College

Course description

This course will give you a good understanding of money and finance and is equivalent to 1 GCSE. You will develop an understanding of spending and how to become competent at managing your own money. You will also explore various careers within the financial services industry.

It is possible to combine GCSEs with this qualification.

Course content

 The topics you will study are:

Unit 1 – Your Personal Finances

Unit 2 – Money Management for your generation

Unit 3 – Your Future, Your Career

A pass grade must be achieved in all three examinations to gain the qualification.  The full name of the course is LIBF Level 2 Lessons in Financial Education Certificate (LiFC).

Entry requirements

You should have at least grade 3 in GCSE Maths and English.
