Level 2 Business at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College

Course description

This level 2 vocational course provides you with a broad understanding on the many different areas of business, from accounting to human resources and everything in-between. The course will also include support for you to work towards gaining those all important GCSEs in Maths and English. The final part of your study programme is work experience and we'll be supporting you to secure a valuable placement.

Course content

The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business will develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding of business functions, environments and operations in a practical way that is relevant to today�s work environment. In order for you to achieve the Diploma in Business you are required to accumulate a total of 60 credits. This consists of four mandatory units (20 credits) and a range of optional units (40 credits).

3 GCSEs at grade D or above

Assessment

In the main you are assessed through coursework, there are also a couple of exams.

Future opportunities

On successful completion with a good grade and a satisfactory interview you could progress on to the level 3 business course.
