VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Beauty Therapy at Kingston College

Course description

This course offers the opportunity to develop skills in beauty therapy providing the foundation for a range of work opportunities in an industry which is dedicated to helping people look and feel their best.

Course content

This is a practical programme covering the principles and application of: Health & Safety, client care and communication skills, facials, eyelash, eyebrow treatments, waxing, manicure, pedicure and make up.

Your learning programme may also include GCSE English or Mathematics, depending on your prior attainment. A period of work experience will also be undertaken.

Entry requirements

A minimum of three GCSEs at grade D/3 or above to include a grade C/4 in either Mathematics or English.

Satisfactory school reference, successful interview and diagnostic screening are required prior to an offer being made.

Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy is highly recommended or employment in the beauty industry.
