Mathematics A Level at The Leventhorpe School
Course description
Students will sit three different exams at the end of Year 12 which assess their knowledge and understanding of the following areas of Mathematics:
- Core Maths 1 (C1)
- Core Maths 2 (C2)
- Decision Maths 1 (D1)
Students will sit three different exams at the end of Year 13 which assess their knowledge and understanding of the following areas of Mathematics:
- Core Maths 3 (C3)
- Core Maths 4 (C4)
- Mechanics 1 (M1)
Entry requirements
Students are required to achieve at least a grade B at GCSE level, although it is highly recommended that a grade A or above at GCSE level.
