Health and Social Care - CACHE Level 2 Diploma at Harrow College
This qualification develops the knowledge and skills needed when working with adults in health and social care environments. It covers a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedure.
The course has four pathways: Generic Health and Social Care Dementia Learning Disability English and Math if you enter the programme without GCSE A*-C English/Maths.
You will need to be working/volunteering or on practical placement as you need to show competence in both knowledge and skills, the college will support you in acquiring a work experience placement if needed.
3 x GCSE grade A* -D. Level 1 Health and Social Care or similar qualification.
You will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task set by CACHE.

- Care Assistants in Residential Settings or Supported Living
- Healthcare Support Workers in Community and Primary Care Environments

- Care Support Workers in Domiciliary Services
Learners can also progress on to a relevant level 3 programme on successful completion of the course.

A4 Notepad, Pens, Pencils.
Any persons working with vulnerable adults and children must undertake a DBS check. There is a charge of £44 for this which you must pay on enrolment.
