Cleaning & Support Services Skills Level 2 Apprenticeship at Lakes College West Cumbria

Course description

On this course students will learn a range of cleaning techniques and skills including health and safety,working effectively with customers and others. Depending on their employer, they might learn how to clean food areas, confined areas, high-risk areas or the inside of passenger transport vehicles.

Relevant GCSEs and interest in the occupational area

Financial information

Apprenticeships are Government funded depending upon age and circumstance

Future opportunities

There's more to cleaning than most people realise - cleaning staff can sometimes work at crime and accident scenes, or for the National Health Service ensuring cleanliness of hospital wards, waiting rooms and offices. Students may wish to study a relevant Level 3 course or seek full time employment in the industry.
