Beauty Therapy at The Parker E-act Academy

Course content

This will be delivered in partnership with Northampton College at Daventry.  Four contact hours of study per week for two years - home study is an important part of the course.  You will be expected to produce a portfolio of evidence which will be developed throughout the course.  This will include evidence for:Health and Safety/ProfessionalismAdvise and Consult with Clients/Providing Basic ManicureBasic Salon Reception Duties/Personal PresentationBasic Skin Care/Assisting Other Therapists

Assessment

Assessment is continuous throughout the course.  Each unit of assessment includes practical, oral questioning and written assignemnts as forms of evidence and externally assessed exmainations.
