Apprenticeship in ICT - Level 3 Advanced at PM Training

Course description

This course is designed to improve your productivity within your current IT role. You may already be an excellent user of IT within your role or wish to develop further your range and level of IT user skills.

Course content

Computing and Information Communication Technology (ICT) has become such an important industry because it affects just about everything we do in our lives. If you have an interest in computers, graphics or technical software systems, this could be the career for you. People with IT and computer skills are sought after in many industry sectors with plenty of options to progress onto higher education or professional training.

Entry requirements

This is dependent upon your current job role or you can progress from Level 2 Apprenticeships onto the Level 2 Apprenticeship. You have to demonstrate you have the qualifications, drive and commitment to the subject area.

Financial information

Apprentice pay does vary, the government min of rate of pay is £3.30 but the many employers choose to pay more than this. The National Minimum Wage rate per hour depends on the age of the employee and whether they are an apprentice - they must be at least school leaving age to be eligible. From 1 October 2015: the adult rate will increase by 20 pence to £6.70 per hour the rate for 18 to 20 year olds will increase by 17 pence to £5.30 per hour the rate for 16 to 17 year olds will increase by 8 pence to £3.87 per hour the apprentice rate will increase by 57 pence to £3.30 per hour for apprentices in their first year of their apprenticeship. All other apprentices are entitled to the National Minimum Wage for their age.
