Spanish Level 3 at Hilbre High Humanities College

Course description

You will build on your knowledge of Spanish via the study of key topic areas. You will focus on improving your language skills and your understanding of tenses and grammatical structures. The course you will follow comprises a bank of online resources which allows you a degree of autonomy and enables you to work independently outside of lessons. You will study a wealth of authentic material and will participate in interactive activities. Revision tasks are built in to the resource bank which you can access online from home.

Entry requirements

At least a grade ‘B’ at GCSE level. It is important to have sat higher level tests for the GCSE exam.


AS Exam: Unit 1 Listening, Reading, Writing (2 hours) 70% of total AS marks 35% of total A level marks Unit 2 Speaking (35 minutes) 30% of total AS marks 15% of total A level marks A2 Exam: Unit 3 Listening, Reading, Writing (2.5 hours) 35% of total A level marks Unit 4 Speaking (35 minutes) 15% of total marks.
