French Asset Languages at Prince William School

Course content

Everyone studies French and students will either study GCSE or Asset Languages; your class teacher will decide which is the most appropriate course for you. Asset Languages is offered as an alternative to GCSE French. This is a fully accredited course, with an OCR qualification, with grade equivalence to GCSE. The course is more flexible than GCSE and allows you to be assessed by your teacher or as a normal exam. Asset Languages allows you to be assessed in the different skills that you are strongest in, e.g. listening, speaking, reading and writing, so that you can concentrate on the aspects or skills that are most useful or appropriate to you.
